Team Spirit Day for the United Way

The Stroudsburg Junior High School student council sponsored the United Way with a fundraiser where anyone who paid a dollar during lunch could wear the jersey of their favorite team.
On Team Spirit Day, people were seen wearing soccer jerseys, baseball jerseys, football jerseys, and everything in between. Teams from the east to the west coast were represented. Fundraisers where students can show their team spirit really get students pumped to help out different causes.
Altogether, the Stroudsburg Junior High School raised 150.00 dollars. The student council and the rest of the school thought the fundraiser was a success. We hope to do some other sort of fundraisers in the future and that they will be as successful as Stroudsburg Junior High’s Team Spirit Day.
